You have the right to read whatever you want and no one has the right, or authority, to know what you buy or read.

We do not censor books.
Censorship? Ain't gonna happen. There is a reason why the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States is the First Amendment. Unlike our corporate competitors, we do not refuse to carry books because of their volatile content or because it might offend someone’s delicate sensibilities. If someone doesn’t like a book, or is frightened or offended by its subject matter, they shouldn’t order the book. It’s that simple.

Your information is safe with us.
No RFID, no sale of your name or order information – does any other bookseller do this? No. When you buy from other online bookstores, they keep your information and sell your information to anyone with cash. Once they have your information, they’ll milk it to their advantage until you drown in spam and incessant mailings of credit card offers and catalogs of absolutely useless household items and other junk you apparently can’t live without.
